This week, we're talking about movies. What better way to spend your time than watching some great movies? Netflix has a ton of movies to choose from, and Amazon Prime Video has even more. We've got several recommendations for both services, so you can find the perfect one for you.
We'll also be talking about teen shows, teen movies, and more next week! Stay tuned!
It's a great time to be a TV fan. We've got so many choices nowadays that it's hard to know where to start.
There are so many shows and movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Go, and more that it can be hard to decide which shows you'll actually like.
But don't worry: we're here with some of our favorite picks for teen and tween-focused shows and movies for you to binge watch this summer!
The summer is here, and with it comes the best time of year to sit back and relax. Whether you're spending your days at the beach or just hanging out at home with a movie marathon, there's no better way to kick off the season than with some new Netflix.
From classic flicks like The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Princess Bride to newer hits like Orange Is the New Black and Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, there's something for everyone on this list. Plus, these movies are all available on Amazon Prime Video as well!
Need even more reasons to fill up your Netflix queue? We've got 'em! Just remember: if you start binge-watching Teen shows (or any show), don't forget to stop when you're done!
If you're looking for a way to fill up your free time, Netflix is a great option. But what if you want something more? What if you're looking for something that engages your mind and soul?
I've been watching a lot of movies lately, and I've been thinking about what makes them so great. It's not so much the plot or the dialogue—it's all of the little details and moments that make a movie memorable.
For example, in The Godfather Part II, we see Michael refilling his glass with water from his own wine glass. It's such a small thing, but when you watch it 20 times in a row, it gets funnier each time.
The same thing goes for Stranger Things: when Joyce was trying to get through the door at Hawkins National Laboratory, she accidentally knocked over her coffee cup on her desk. And then later on when they were trying to escape from their pursuers at the lab (who may have been government scientists), they ran into another group of people who were also escaping from their pursuers—and they spilled their soup all over Joyce's clothes.
It's the end of summer, and you know what that means: time to binge watch some teen shows on Netflix.
Netflix is pretty much the best thing ever (if you don't have it, get it!), but if you're looking for something different from what's there already, then Amazon Prime Video might have a few options for you.
Amazon Prime Video has a ton of movies for teens that are both old and new. The older ones include Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The newer ones include Mowgli and Wonderstruck.
You can also find some great teen series like Riverdale or 13 Reasons Why on Amazon Prime Video—both are based on comic books! They're not always appropriate for younger audiences, but they're still pretty good stories with strong female characters in them.
If those aren't your thing (but they should be), then there are plenty more options available at Amazon Prime Video!
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and binge-watching — what's not to like?
Some people might look at it and say "I don't have time for this," but we're here to tell you that you can make time for it. You just need a little planning ahead.
With Netflix, you can watch anything in any order. You can even watch episodes of your favorite show out of order if that's what works best for you! That's right — because Netflix is constantly adding new content, they've got literally millions of movies and TV shows at their disposal. And because they keep adding new shows and movies all the time, there's always something fresh to watch.
Amazon Prime Video has a similar feature where you can watch whatever shows are available on their platform at any point in time. They also have a huge collection of movies, which is perfect for when you want to relax or unwind after work (or even before work).
The best thing about watching these shows on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video is that they're available on all devices: phones, tablets, streaming boxes like Roku or Chromecast (even TVs!), etc.—there's no excuse not to
It's been awhile since I've done a Movie Review post, so I thought I'd give you a recap of my recent Netflix watchlist.
I'm a big fan of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, so when I saw that they were both offering new movies for streaming this month, I knew it was time for me to get back on the bandwagon. Here are my top picks:
1. [movie title]
2. [movie title]
3. [movie title]
When you're a teen, it can be hard to find time to go out and have fun. Between school, friends, family, and homework, there just isn't enough hours in the day.
But what if I told you there was a way for you to spend less time doing homework AND more time having fun?
That's where Netflix comes in! Netflix is an awesome place that lets you watch movies and TV shows on your computer or phone. It's also got some of the best teen shows around—and they're all free!
There are tons of genres to choose from: horror movies, comedies, dramas… the list goes on. But what if we were to tell you that Netflix has lots of teen shows as well? That would be pretty cool right? Well it is! And there are plenty of options for when your friends come over while they're studying or doing homework too!
Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are both great for binge watching!
You might not be familiar with the term "binge watching" but it's a pretty common practice. If you're not familiar with it, it means watching multiple episodes or movies of a series at once—and sometimes binge watching can mean watching several shows in one day.
Netflix is great because you can watch whatever you want whenever you want on whatever device you want. But if you're looking for teen shows or teen movies, Netflix isn't the best place to start.
Amazon Prime Video is another story! They have tons of great shows and movies for teens and adults alike. And they make their shows available on any device—so even if you don't have an Amazon Prime membership, there's still a ton of stuff for you to watch!
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu have become the go-to places to watch movies and TV shows. But what about teen shows?
Netflix has been making waves with its teen programming for years now. They've got some great shows like "13 Reasons Why" and "13 Reasons Why: Beyond the Reasons." But that's not all they have to offer—they also have a whole host of other teen-focused shows on their platform. If you're looking for something to binge watch, these are some of the best options available:
1. "Call My Agent!" - This show follows an aspiring actor as he takes on jobs from his agent in order to make ends meet (and maybe find a big break). It's an honest look at what it's like to work as an actor in Hollywood today.
2. "Fuller House" - This show follows Tanner Fuller (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) after his family moves back into their home together again when his sister gets married. It's been rebooted multiple times, but this one is definitely worth checking out! You might recognize Tanner from his role as Zack Morris on Saved By The Bell!
3. "The Goldbergs" - This show follows Goldberg (Troy Gentile
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu all have some fantastic teen shows for you to watch—and if you're looking for movies that teens like, you can't go wrong with these platforms either.
Netflix has tons of movies that appeal to teens. You've got everything from classics like Mean Girls to modern hits like 13 Reasons Why. If you want something a little more mature, though? Netflix has something for that too: The Kissing Booth is a movie about a young girl who gets kissed by an older guy at a party and then becomes obsessed with him. It's not always super realistic (it's basically just a modern day Cinderella story), but it's still really fun!
Amazon Prime Video has tons of great teen shows on there as well—it's basically an all-you-can-eat buffet when it comes to binge watching. You can find shows about surfing, fashion design, cooking competitions, sports… the list goes on and on! And if you'd rather watch something more lighthearted than dark? Amazon also has plenty of comedies for you to watch like The Middle Man
Teenagers are a fickle bunch. They love to watch movies and TV shows, but when it comes to streaming services, they're not so sure about how long they'll stick around.
Netflix has been around since 1997, but only recently has it become a go-to for teens. Hulu doesn't have nearly as much content for teens—but with its new family-friendly features, this could be changing soon. Amazon Prime Video is another one that's making waves in the teen space: It's a streaming service that caters specifically to children and families (and it's been around since 2006).
But the most surprising thing about these services is how different they are from each other—and how much better Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are at targeting their younger audience than Hulu does. Let's take a look at how these three services compare when it comes to adding content for young people who are just starting out on their own journeys into the world of entertainment!
